Forbes India's 100 Richest list of 8 October 2025 ranked Sridhar Vembu and his siblings 51st, with a combined net worth of US$6 billion. That figure is shared across the family, not held by Vembu alone.
In 2020 Forbes estimated his individual net worth at US$2.44 billion, in its Sridhar Vembu and Siblings profile.
The wealth comes from Zoho, which he co-founded as AdventNet in 1996 and which has stayed privately held. The company is widely described as bootstrapped. A VC once offered investment with an exit or liquidity clause. Unable to promise one, he kept Zoho independent.
Zoho reported FY2025 revenue of 12,313 crore rupees and net income of 3,191 crore rupees, with over 120 million users. In 2026 a California court ordered Vembu to post a US$1.7 billion bond in his divorce case.
